Abstract
Modular Tensor Categories (MTC) can be used to model newly found exotic states of matter called Topological States of matter. Physicists are interested in the classification of MTC's so that they can more easily understand these Topological States and also possibly look for new Topological States that haven't been found yet. MTC's can be represented by two matrices, whose entries generate a Galois group over the rationals. In low rank the number of possible of Galois groups is small and we can take advantage of the strong Galois structure to produce all possible cases.
