In this talk, we give an overview of some basic theory of Complex Analysis on Banach spaces, as well as talk about the corona problem and the cluster value problem. We study the cluster value problem for certain Banach algebras of holomorphic functions defined on the unit ball of a complex Banach space X. The main results are for spaces of the form X=C(K), for which we will give an outline of the ideas and techniques involved. This is joint work with William B. Johnson.
