"  Signal Reconstruction from Frame and Sampling Erasures "
  Sam Scholze

Abstract

In this talk, we will discuss how frames are used for signal processing. We will then discuss how to reconstruct a signal when some of the frame coefficients have been erased. Some older methods of reconstruction, as well as two new, more efficient methods will be presented. If time permits, we will discuss an application of this work to Shannon-Whittaker sampling theory, and future research directions. This is joint work with David Larson.
